What’s New in 1.4?
The headline feature of this version is our brand-new Growth Tracker. Monitoring physical development is a key part of pediatric health, and we’ve made it easier than ever to do right from your smartphone.
1. Height and Weight Logs
You no longer need to wait for the next doctor’s visit to see how much your little one has grown. You can now log your child’s height and weight measurements at any time. Whether it’s a weekly check-in or a monthly milestone, Parentara keeps a clean, organized history of their physical progress.
2. Instant Percentile Calculations
Measurements are great, but context is better. Parentara 1.4 now automatically calculates Percentile Values for both height and weight.
- What are percentiles? They are a standard tool used by pediatricians to compare your child’s growth to a national or international average of children of the same age and sex.
It helps you understand if your child is following their own unique growth curve over time, providing valuable data you can share with your pediatrician during check-ups.
How to Get Started
- Update Parentara to version 1.4 via the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the app and navigate to the new ‘Growth Charts’ tab on your child’s profile.
- Add your child’s current height and weight measurements.
- See what is the percentile of your child in height and weight compared to other children of the same age and sex.
